This is the update of what we have spent & made this month. Our income column is good, because I made some extra money from the business I have been trying to open. My DF also had some overtime, and I am starting to get more hours at my regular job.

The bad things this month from spending- my fiance spent $9.72 on lunch. We also spent $12 on dry cleaning. I really didn’t want to, but I have been hand washing DF’s pants and 2 sweaters for 6 months & he wears them at least 1-2 times a week, so he asked if we could please dry clean them. Since he hasn’t had these items drycleaned in about 6 months, I said it was fine.
The groceries are high, but that is before rebate. I have about $100 scheduled to come back to me via rebate, so the total is really much less than it looks. However, I’m still trying to work on lowering it, and seeing such a high pre-rebate total concerns me. A big part of the problem is I took advantage of a free holiday membership to BJ’s and ended up spending a bunch more money than I would have without it. Granted, we now have 12 Annie’s Mac & Cheeses, a giant supply of Country Time Lemonade and some other stuff that will last us months. However, overall I think BJ’s would end up costing me money rather than saving, and I don’t know if I will even go back during the rest of my free membership much less purchase a membership.
The prescription cost is also high. I got new health insurance and I have a $100 deductible, after which I will be pay $10 a month for a generic version of the monthly medicine. Thats not great, but its a lot better than the $24 here.
The good news is, we have paid a lot on our debt!
Anyway, here is the income:
